Who We Are

He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Matthew 9:36

Mercy Clinic was founded in 2011 to show Christ’s love and compassion by providing free health care, spiritual care, and assistance in self-help to the underserved population south Fort Worth.

Our patients are uninsured adults residing in the 76110 and 76104 zip codes in Fort Worth, TX. Mercy Clinic provides wellness checkups, well-woman visits, sick visits, dentistry extractions and fillings, and limited laboratory and prescription services. Thanks to the support of our volunteers and financial partners, in 2019, Mercy Clinic expanded services to three clinics per week, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and Wednesday afternoons.

To fulfill its mission, Mercy Clinic enlists over 140 volunteers who provide healthcare, office support, security, and translation services to help meet the needs of our patients.

2020 Vision

Looking Forward to More Room to Serve

Mercy Clinic Vision 2020.png

Since Mercy Clinic opened its doors our patient visits have steadily climbed with a full waiting room every time the doors are open. 2020 Vision is our road map to meeting the physical and spiritual needs of our community in the future.

Central to 2020 Vision is expanding our capacity and services from two nights a week to five days / evenings a week. In order to achieve this goal, a new, state-of-the-art facility is required to meet anticipated increases in patient demand. Our new home will allow us to meet current and future needs for our 76110 patients as well as expand services to adjacent zip codes.

But it's much more than just a building.

Our mission is to show the love and compassion of Jesus to our neighbors in Fort Worth.  In addition to employing a full-time executive director, Mercy Clinic will also employ a full-time counselor-evangelist to minister to our patients. These positions are vital to ensure that our patients receive adequate and consistent physical, mental, social, and spiritual care.

Our Goals for 2020 Vision:

  • Construct New Medical/Dental Clinic Building

  • Ongoing Operational Support

  • Endowments for Ongoing Maintenance and Operational Support

2020 Vision

April 12, 2021: Thank you to "Martha Sue Parr Trust" for a major two-year grant to support our 2020 Vision Capital Campaign. With their gift we move ever closer to the ability to reach more patients and provide a more spacious atmosphere for our volunteer medical personnel to minister to the uninsured.

Thank You

What Our Patients Are Saying

— Amalia

"Mercy Clinic has been very good for my health. Because I am very happy with the services of the clinic, if it were not for the attention they give me here I would feel very bad because of my illness. I thank God for the church, the services and the staff."
